[request] mrd_postmaster (mini-bounty/mini-featureset)

OK, this is the second try to garner support for a postmaster revamp that will address compatibility issues with textpattern 4.5+ and be nicely integrated with the 4.6 style guidelines, and optimized for the Hive theme. No support for modular services, just revamping the way it currently works (maybe with smtp send). i have a dev who has agreed to get functionality updated and compatible for the foreseeable future. I’ll be paying out of pocket for this, so I’d appreciate donation in the form of pledges to make it happen.

Note: We can probably accommodate some modest added functions but these go case by case

This thread has three goals

revamp the existing codebase to work with 4.5+ and 4.6’s new interface guidelines.—-Work is underway
Get pledges for financial support for the rewrite.
Entice a coder to actually do the work.—-done!

SMTP Send
Subscriber Management Area
- Address any flakiness with Subscribe/unsubscribe
- Remaining feature-set is fine with me

List Management Area

Direct Send Area
- Feature-set is fine with me (The ability to invoke a send to a list through a txp-form allows for sophisticated multi-article newsletters)
Full set of tags for content and existing functions that actually work
Import/Export
- mem_postmaster list backward compatibility
- Remaining Feature-set is fine with me
GPL2 liscense (which is true of every txp plugin, right?)
Near future TXP compatible (dev must really pay attention to keeping this suite upgradeable.)

In theory I can still contribute $150 but f@¢k knows if I will be able to transfer it or if I have any cash by next month. The situation here changes by the minute. It is basically a war which is thankfully not fought with guns.
