It might be in the Presentation->Pages template corresponding to the section in which the warning occurs.

At the risk of pushing my own plugin, you could try installing smd_where_used which pops up under the Extensions tab and allows you to search for references to things in your site. You could then search for article_custom and it’ll show you in which Page/Form those tags are used. Click the items in the resulting list to edit them.

OK, check you have done the following then:

1. View the smd_where_used plugin .txt file, available from the “Download” (or “Zipped”) buttons on my site.
2. Copy the entire file contents.
3. Visit Admin->Plugins and paste the contents into the Install plugin box at the top.
4. Hit Upload.
5. When the next screen appears, scroll to the bottom past the two textareas and hit Install.
6. On the Admin->Plugins tab, find the smd_where_used entry in the list and look towards the right of the screen under the ‘Active’ column. It should say ‘No’. Click that word to change it to ‘Yes’. The plugin is now active.
7. Click any other tab in the admin interface and you should see a new top-level tab called ‘Extensions’ appear to the right of the Admin tab. Click it.

If it’s any consolation, you are not the only one encountering these problems. This thread I’m linking to does not offer a solution, but at least you’ll know that people have been giving this some thought ;)
