This one adds warnings on install before it pushes the button on your content if it seems to differ from the usual single article default setup.

Good idea since the plugin is very efficient: one moment it’s there and the next it’s gone along with a few other items ;)

Re: sed_cleaner

If anyone else is now interested in testing v0.7rc1 you can find it here temporarily.

Removed now, replaced with v0.7 as linked in opening post.

And on such test environments: be sure your DB backup folder is not the files directory as rss_admin_db_manager defaults to that one.

In bad weather I never leave home without wet_plugout, smd_where_used and adi_form_links

That’s good advice — and not just because of what sed_cleaner does. It does make me wonder about cleaning out the files dir by default now. Hmmm. I’m going to change that — very good catch Uli.

Re: sed_cleaner

v0.7 is out.

Adds…

  • Warning on installation.
  • Confirmation page shown before use in non-standard installations.
  • Only removes the files it imports — should no longer nuke any DB backups that reside in the files directory.

All previous versions have been removed.

Re: sed_cleaner

I’m actually working on a site created with sed_cleaner.
I have removed all the categories with sed_cleaner, but the new categories are created in TXP without any problem.

You create the categories in the cleanups.php file ? I don’t see where ?

Re: sed_cleaner

I don’t know where is the problem. The categories are created in the DB, without any problem.
But they aren’t listed in the category tab. If I create another category with the same name Textpattern alerts me.
I think the problem is grab data from DB. I’m just trying to solve it logically…

Re: sed_cleaner

I everyone!
I’m using Textpattern 4.4.1
After installtion I run sed_cleaner.

Now if I create a new category, Textpattern stores it in the database, but any item are listened in the admin page. The page reports that categories are empty.

What could be the problem?
