Re: Feedback for the Textpattern 4.4.1 release

Textpattern 4.4.1 in my opinion is very welcomed update. Using the new CSRF protection tools is a pleasure. The bouncer is truly a friendly fellow — I mean easy to use.

If I had any criticism — or suggestion really — would be the release date. In my honest opinion, I would suggest doing the releases during weekdays, not on weekend. Preferably on Tuesday as that would maximize the media attention, plus that’s when we all – developers, end-users – are at work.

Re: Feedback for the Textpattern 4.4.1 release

Upgraded 11 sites on DreamHost, took me 30 minutes, gotta love small code bases.

Everything looks good, diagnostics checks all pass.

Updated the cross reference for 4.4.1.

Thanks Robert for making Textpattern one of the most secure CMS on the web.

I am just glad, though, the new CSRF-repellant version is out, though.

2x successful upgrades (?updates) from 4.4.0 -> 4.4.1 on Media Temple (dv) 4.0, no obvious issues.

Re: Feedback for the Textpattern 4.4.1 release

Upgraded 8 sites without issue. The 9th (the only one that uses jmd_img_selector) is giving me this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '(', expecting '}' in /xxxx/xxxxx/html/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php(653)
: eval()'d code on line 284 The above errors were caused by the plugin:jmd_img_selector
The site was running 4.3.0 previously. Any suggestions?

Re: Feedback for the Textpattern 4.4.1 release

I upgrade a site from 4.3.0 to 4.4.1.
Plugin adi_notes 1.1 : give me a white page with get_off_my_lawn: article, create when I want to modify a public note (content>article).

Such problem occurs for old (from previous txp install) notes. New notes are correctly saved/modified, on the other tabs.

Re: Feedback for the Textpattern 4.4.1 release

I’d made a 4.4.1 capable version of adi_notes (translated in french) available for download on the french TXP community users http://txp-fr.net
