lum_install - Deluxe installer
Simply browse the textpattern.org-website and click the shiny “install”-button instead of the tired old “download – open in editor – select all – copy – click Admin/Plugins – paste”-routine.

Re: lum_install - Deluxe installer
Ah, the first step into the simple and bright plugin maintenance future of TXP Resources is made. This will hopefully entice more authors to announce their plugins there, too. Will test ASAP.
Nice to open a discussion topic in the forum, BTW. I never recognized the relation Themroc – lum, although I perceived both.
In bad weather I never leave home without wet_plugout, smd_where_used and adi_form_links

Yep, another one alongside soo_plug_up and TXP 5’s proposed support for direct (albeit not necessarily one-click) upgrades from the plugins tab. The future’s bright…
BTW, Themroc, if your plugin would benefit from a feed of plugins and their versions direct from textpattern.org, get in touch. There’s one available from the new site in development which you’re welcome to use.
The smd plugin menagerie — for when you need one more gribble of power from Textpattern. Bleeding-edge code available on GitHub.

It just tweaks the html coming out of textpattern.org. To do it right, it would have to read nearly the complete “textpattern”-table…
