Footnotes and scrolling back

Hello,

maybe this problem is not Textpattern related.

In long articles with footnotes I have a problem when I use one of these footnote-links. In some browsers I can´t go back to the top of the page. I can only go up for some paragraphs …. Are there limitations? Or is something wrong in my code?
The problem appears in IE8, Safari, Chrome (7) and Firefox (3.5), but not in Opera (10.63)!

You can test it here.

Thanks in advance for any hint.

Re: Footnotes and scrolling back

It’s not just the footnotes, if you use the back button or home key from another id anchor, for example here, the same thing happens.
Very strange, I don’t think it’s Txp related, but have you tried if the problem also exists when using backlinks (in the new Textile)?

Hi
@Andreas
May I ask you, which Poll Script you use in the sidebar on your website?

@Els
thanks for this hint. I thought it is “footnote related”. So, there is an error in my code …

@SuMu
pap_xpoll 0.2, but I had to make some adjustments …

Re: Footnotes and scrolling back

I could isolate the problem. It seems not to be Textpattern related …

Hm, it´s a little bit to difficult to explain: I can´t use anchors inside the “left” or “right” div. Maybe I have to define for these bordering divs an extra anchor or a “fallback anchor”?
