[textile] Super/Sub Scripts

It seems that sub and superscript behaviour is strange:

Na +

CH 2

Note the space needed to make this work. Now, on Textism, the superscript seems to work without an extra space, but subscripts still don’t!

Is this on purpose?

Thanks,
Shige

Re: [textile] Super/Sub Scripts

You can use brackets to specify the “binding order”:

Na[^+^]
CH[~2~]

Na+
CH2

Re: [textile] Super/Sub Scripts

Thanks! I’ll have to inform my users!

I didn’t know about this feature. Is there a master reference somewhere?

Re: [textile] Super/Sub Scripts

There’s Alex’ Textile reference manual. The bracket syntax is described in the “Miscellaneous” section.
