[textile] Multiple comma-separated footnote reference numbers

This started out as a question but then I ended up answering it myself. Since I had the message 90% typed up already, I figured I would spread the joy.

The problem: how to get Textile to do footnote reference numbers that look like this:

Test.^1,2,3

Approaches that didn’t work:

1. Test.[1][2][3] => Test.¹²³
2. Test.[1],[2],[3] => Test.¹,²,³
3. Test.[1,2,3] => Test.[1,2,3]
4. Test.[1]^,^[2]^,^[3] => Test.¹^,^[2],^³
5. Test.[1]^,^ [2]^,^ [3] => Test.¹^,^ [2]^,^ [3]

The solution:

Test.[1][^,^][2][^,^][3] => Test.^1,2,3
