Website questionnaire

I would like to drop out a website questionnaire about some existing websites. Does somebody know an article somewhere where I can read how to do that the best — like how to formulate the questions, what topics, etc. I’m looking for some tips on what questions I should ask.

Edit: to be a little bit more clear.

Re: Website questionnaire

This might sound strange but what kind of answers you would like to receive via the questionnaire?

Re: Website questionnaire

And what is the aim of your questionnaire and who is its audience?

Re: Website questionnaire

The audience are the website visitors (from a swimming club). I just want to know if the site is usable, if they can find the information they need, if the menu is structured well, if they have any other ideas.

I think I should just ask that questions in the kind of ‘open question’. People might explain themselves more with that kind of questions than with multiple choice questions, it think.

Re: Website questionnaire

For usability, Leslie Nielsen is considered THE expert at useit.com

I’m not sure you’ll find questions but I know he recommends user testing and observing how they use a web site and that if you can get just 5 people to use it, that’s often enough info to be sure your site is usable enough.
