"My Textpattern" tab

If you are registrated as a normal user (not as admin) you only have the possiblity to change your password if you know the direct link. What about a new tab called “My Textpattern” where the user can change its personal settings (name, mail adress, password…). Pershaps this tab could be even extended with a list of all the articles that have been written by this author.

Re: "My Textpattern" tab

That’s the purpose of the txp_admin tab (they won’t receive all the admin options they don’t have permission to touch). The problem is in how the tabs currently work. This will change, but not in the 4.0 line, because its a core change in behaviour. Adding a new tab in the meantime will just confuse things, I’m afraid. This is solvable in the interim with a simple plugin, though (create a link somewhere to the txp_admin tab).
