Thanks Marios
Hi community,
since our little christmas fund raising i asked for donations for the Blogmap and for Kusors work on XML-RPC. Someone who always supported the community with donations is Marios.
Thank you, Marios!

Re: Thanks Marios
Txp community, I think that another system should be found regarding the donations. Paypal, although very popular, does not clear credit cards form many countries. more specifically cyprus which is where I live. Here is a list of countries paypal supports.
Marios, what can I say? It is a very cool thing you are doing.

Do you have any suggestions as to any alternatives?
There is the upcoming Google one, but I’d personally rather not use it until it’s been around a little while.
My only personaly problem with PayPal is the transfer time for adding funds (I don’t like holding large amounts in it all at once, just in case…). My last transfer took nearly two weeks. Could be my bank’s fault for all I know, though.

Don’t forget that for some countries (like Algeria) it s impossible to transfert money to abroad countries (only if you make trading then you can with a very complicated operation with the bank).

I don’t think so. I also suffer from this huge transfer time. I thought it was my banks fault but now you’ve mentioned this two week delay then it seems more likely it’s a paypal problem.
Edit: Also good on you Marios!
