Is it possible to search only within one section of a site?

Re: search only one section?

In Presentation > Sections you can for every section set if it should be included in the search.

Re: search only one section?

Thanks for the reply.

However, what I want to do is have a main site search that searches all sections, and then another search that only searches within a specified section.

If I turn off searching for some sections, the main site search will not work properly.

Re: search only one section?

Ah, I see. As far as I know that’s not possible, or you would have to make that section a separate TXP install…

Re: search only one section?

with -current, <txp:article searchall=0 /> on the page template for the section you want to search, and <txp:search_input section="mysection" /> to display the form.

Re: search only one section?

That’s very cool! I’ve just added it to the tips section of the resources site. Thanks Alex.

Re: search only one section?

Would there be a way to have an “advanced” search form with options, like a pulldown for the sections?

Re: search only one section?

Thanks for the info!

How can I download the most recent version (i.e. one that support this type of search)?

Re: search only one section?

Thanks for the link…

however, that instructs me to use the files from /deanload which is the version I’m already using (last updated April 29, it looks like). Any ideas where I can find a newer version?
