4.7.0 section panel quirk

When assigning changes to selected sections using “With selected…” dropdowns for “page” and “style” show their options only before one clicks GO.

After that those dropdown menus show no options anymore, those dropdowns are empty.
But the selected questions are still selected.

Some automatic reload of options is missing there.
Currently one has to manually reload the sections page and reselect sections every time after save only to be able to return sections to their old state or change further.

Just FYI.

A hole turned upside down is a dome, when there’s also gravity.

Confirmed, thank you for the report. Not sure why we need to fill these dropdowns via JS, especially since other parts are created server-side. Stef, perhaps?

Re: 4.7.0 section panel quirk

Honestly can’t remember why they’re loaded by JS. They only need to change when a different theme is selected. All the relevant info should be available on page load. Feel free to fix it, sorry.

Edit: the commit history around that time might give some hints on why implementation was done that way… if you can find it.

Ah yes, the theme change, makes sense. OK, will think of a way to fix it.
