Delete section
I’m trying to delete one section, got error: section_delete_failure.

Sounds like the section is in use. Ensure it has no articles associated with it, then try again.
And if you’re seeing section_delete_failure
instead of a proper error message, you need to update your language strings. Depending on the version of Textpattern you’re using that’s either in Admin->Languages or Admin->Preferences->Languages.

Now I’m trying to delete default section. There is error: can’t delete section, assigned to posts: default. There is no any post.

The default section is necessary for displaying the start/home page of your website, for displaying category pages, date archives, author pages, and for performing searches (and maybe even more tasks like these). That’s the reason that it cannot be deleted. The error message displayed is not what you would expect there, but not coding an exception for situations like this helps keeping Textpattern’s code leaner.
