Q [error] [client1.2.3.4] File does not exist: in error logs

Dear peeps,

I have installed v 4.4.1 onto Apache. It works well. However, I noticed a few errors that popped up in the apache error logs. How would I mend point i)

i) When ever I hit the site, or run the Diagnostics from the Admin page this appears in the logs:

Note that the Diagnostics Clean URL test fails. Even though the site is up.

ii) I had to disable two rules from ModSec to get it to work:

I take my words back about the site working :D I misconfigured something. The links on the main page do not lead anywhere.

however this did not solve the other problems.

Did you try to disable clean urls? You can do it by going to Admin > Preferences > Permanent link mode *

Just disabled it and it works. I wonder how I can mend this so that clean URLs are enabled. It makes linking the URLs far nicer.

Back from the weekend (there is no public holiday in the Netherlands for New years day nor Christmas day unless one counts the Saturday and Sunday, which of course no one works on anyway, and the shops are open on the weekend, so whats the point… grr).
