ort_maintenancemode: A(nother) maintenance mode plugin for Textpattern
This plugin is intended to allow an administrator to put the site off-line and show a static page while doing maintenance tasks.
It is roughly equivalent to rvm_maintenance and was originated in the same forum thread, so you should choose whichever works best for you.
The plugin was developed by Héctor Rosso, Daniel Mammana and Gustavo Iorini, students in the Instituto de Tecnología ORT for the course Seminario de Tecnología y Aplicaciones where I teach.

The main functional difference between this plugin and rvm_maintenance is that the latter only shows the maintenance page to visitors who are not logged in on the admin side.

Ahhh… nice touch… maybe I’ll check how to add that in a future release.
