Overview

The plugin gives you control over what you want certain user levels see in the Write, Organise tab and the “inner” part of the Image tab. It also gives you option to have “Textile Help”, “Advanced Options” and “Recent Articles” in the Write tab be opened by default. It creates control panel under Extentions tab where you can manage your preferences:

so you just un-tick those fields that are not used by your users. It happens with help of JavaScript, means the fields will disappear only visually.

Perspective

Other tabs and fields in other tabs may become managed by the plugin in future.

The plugin is tested with the current 4.0.3 version and the latest svn nightbuilds.

Ransom

The plugin will be was held for ransom in amount of $100. Matthew Smith (artiswork.org), who is also the author of the plugin’s idea, has kindly suggested his help in collecting the fund for the plugin by setting PayPal donation box – artiswork.org/donations/ – and if you don’t have a PayPal anyway and still want to participate in the release, here’s the info.
