Re: [request] Custom Fields on Steroids

This feature would blow my socks off, because then I’d never have any reason to even consider another blog/cms. This feature alone is why I still see a need for ExpressionEngine from time to time. If this is implemented it shouldn’t be a plugin, it should be part of TxP’s core functionality. Inspired, thank you so much for trying to tackle this… we really appreciate it.

Agreed brightheart.

I think the ransom for this plugin would get paid overnight… heck my wallet is ready to go right now :)

Re: [request] Custom Fields on Steroids

It would also be a great idea to use CFoS in more ways

  • link them to specific article forms (i.e. addresses for an address lists, read: microformats)
  • an evolution would be to use CFoS to generate structured content for articles (i.e. an address, a review, a geocode, a calendar entry for one article from micro-forms)

Imagine: Enter the address, get the geocode via Google Map API, insert the geodata into the appropriate CFoSs and produce a Google Map via a micro-article-form.

Is there any progress on this plugin? It would be awesome to see this work.
