Easiest link to individual articles

What’s the best way?
Are URLs complete or relative?
Just installed zem_link but still trying to get my head around TXP’s handling of internal links

Re: Easiest link to individual articles

Root relative is always pretty bullet proof.

Urls generated by built-in tags are absolute.

I think the only internal tool that is an exception is the textile/xhtml links in the image tab which generate root relative addresses but they aren’t tags.

I think the textile/xhtml links generating root relative links is good in case you migrate content between multiple servers. In fact it almost seems like the file tab ones should work the same way.

Ace,

Not sure if this what you were asking but:

Absolute URL:
http://mydomain.com/rest-of/my-url

Root relative:
/rest-of/my-url (the domain is assumed)
