Re: bbclone plugin
I downloaded and installed it on my blog (http://penaltyslack.com) and it works like a charm, so thanks a lot for that.
There is just one little thing, IE refuses to center my blog whereas all the other browsers (well, Opera and Firefox do) do as it is supposed to be.
When I take out <txp:poe_bbclone />, everything is fine again.
Does anybody have any ideas on this?

IE has a centering problem. To center in IE on your container div set- text-align: center
- margin-left: auto
- margin-right: auto
- text-align: left
After that you can delete your
div align=“center”

Yeah, at first I thought that would do the trick too. But it doesn’t . :(
Oh well, I’ll just stick with my (very crude) sollution as this seems to work for most browsers and (the c%#k s^#@$%g) IE. Haven’t tried in on a Mac though, don’t have one. :)
Thanks anyway, appreciate it. :)

Re: bbclone plugin
That only works when the div is placed inside another container which is either absolutely or relatively positioned. It’s a CSS bug.

Re: bbclone plugin
uh, for IE (some versions) the correct technique is to add text-align:center to the body element, then put text-align:left, and the margin trick, on the centered column

Re: bbclone plugin
Am I correct in assuming that the plug will return a counter printed to the page where it’s called from?
I see the /bbclone/index.php content, but I’m trying to get a simple counter to print to the site.
It is counting, BTW — as I see it in bbclone/index.php.

Re: bbclone plugin
I’m curious about this. Is it smart enough to decode the section names and the article names? I’ve got it put in all the relevant page templates that I have, but I wonder if it’s going to just return total number of hits to the site, or hits broken down by page.
On the other hand, I suppose I could just wait and see in the morning.
Regards,
Remillard
UPDATE: The statistics page does report hits based on pages, however the link to them is malformed For example a link like:
http://site.name.here/section/id/the-title-of-the-post
gets marked in BBClone as:
http:///
I haven’t started to dig into this yet but maybe I will over the next week.
