I18N localizing lang strings for lang companion plugins
Hi, I am opening this thread in the hope that we could resolve a problem that deals with non ASCII charracters in the textarea of the edit plugin pane.
This applyies to the companion plugins like for zem_contact_reborn’s Zem_conatact_lang
I’m interested allso to localize a couple of them.
The problem.:As phiw13 allready pointed out, localization of lang companion plugins is not possible at this point,
because after the data is inserted in the database (where it is stored correctly), it is not viewable as recognized non ASCII data.
(Displays as:???????????)
could this be changed in the codebase to allow for proper display?
In the meanwhile:
Where can I hack the code to start localization ?
EDIT.:Another Issue, are there any Ideas or guidelines for plugin authors, or a convention that would allow for multi-usage of lang companion plugins ?
