Sorry fuls, I was hoping some one else might have an answer. Are the double paragraphs showing up while editing or after save?

If during editing what browser are you using?
If after save, what do the use textile drop downs say?

The 4.0.6 upgrade should have changed anything in terms of the basic TinyMCE behavior, as it’s not even aware it’s running in TXP.

Thanks Hakjoon.
It is happening during editing. I’m using firefox.
When will you be able to do the plugin upgrade?

Thank you very much!

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

I started working on support for version 3.x of tinyMCE this weekend. It looks like basic support is pretty straight forward. The plugin interface however has completely changed so the image picker will have to be re-written.

I’m going to be away for a couple weeks in the beginning of April so realistically I won’t be able to really get to it until mid-April. If people are interested in trying version 3 without the image plugin I could try to package up a release with just version 3 before I leave.

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

hak_tinymce-074b It includes both version 2 and 3 of Tinymce to test version 3 either rename the tiny_mce3 folder or just point the admin preference to teh right place.

  • No Gzip yet for version3
  • no image picking plugin

Bug reports welcome, but I probably won’t be able to check the forum for a couple weeks after this weekend. I’m planning a major rewrite of the javascript for the next version because v3 gets rid of a lot of hacks I needed to put in.

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

Is this using TinyMCE 2 or TinyMCE 3? The image plugin does not work currently for TinyMCE 3. The API completely changed, so I have to re-write it. If you need the bundled insert image functionality you have to use TinyMCE 2 right now.

Otherwise you can remove txpimage from the plugin line in the init and use the built in image tool, but it won’t let you browse your TXP images.

Please let me know if that is not clear enough. Votre anglais est bien mieux que mon Français

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

0.7.4 comes with tinyMCE 2, if you are getting the editor then everything is installed properly.

Do you have a lot of images? The image popup tries to pull all the images in installation, if you have a lot of images it could cause it to time out. If you tell it to keep running does it eventually load?

If you look in firebug it should be trying to do an ajax call you can see if that is happening. The ajax tries to call this address “/textpattern/index.php?event=hak_txpimage&src=undefined” if you want to see if that is succeeding.

Do you get anything at all, do you at least get the spinning graphic?

Sorry Patrick, now I see that I did not express myself right. The thing is that I can’t enter a break (new line) I always got a new paragraph and when I want to return the text one line up, I can’t do it. This is happening in all browsers.

Do you have any idea what to do?

Thanks!
