I have realized, that the textile in comments behaves different from the article textile.

In the textpattern article field:

A simple break will be translated in the article in a br-tag.

A space line will be a p-tag.

In the comment field:

A simple break will be translated to two br-tags: br-br which is really strange.

Any suggestions?

Yes, they changed didn’t they, but I think older comments still retain their original formatting. They can be changed with an SQL query and I’m sure someone around here has already done this.

How about a “use textile on comments” yes or no option in the advanced preferences?
