Since this is not a bug I’ll post it here: in r3002 the default value for the escape attribute in <txp:custom_field /> was changed from empty to html. I don’t see this mentioned in history.txt but if the attribute is not set in the tag it causes display of html entities in custom field content. So if this happens you need to add escape="" to the custom_field tag.
