I’ve written a few plugins that work together to allow users to submit moderated content from the public side of a textpattern site. These plugins are currently in the beta testing phase and will be released shortly (intentionally vague).
A more indepth posting about it.

This looks really cool! When are you releasing the beta? :)

That’s very kind of you to say, but I’m already taken. :P
I’m hoping to release the beta sometime during the week. It all depends on if I have time to create an install wizard (like I did for mem_self_register) and/or write up the plugin help, which is currently blank.

Manfre, that looks very promising. I would gladly beta-test it.

just great, manfre. this is a feature that i really admired in Expression Engine – great to see it coming to TXP. could really help not only w/ community sites, but also corporate ones as well, where there is one administrator but a few folks responsible for content. integration of the textile shortcuts/wysiswyg editor will make a nice package.

I am currently only opening up the moderation queue and the moderation plugin for articles. I have moderation plugins for links and images, but I am holding off on posting those until after a little bit of testing goes in to the articles. Alas, I only have so much free time.

Posted updates to both plugins. A few html errors slipped through my testing.
The new version for both is 0.3.1.

Wow. It’s like Scoop, but not a pain to set up…
