Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] mdp_calendar

Well, I’m not sure what I did wrong but after installed I’ve got this error message when call the page with mdp_calendar_small:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: dotag() in THE URL TO /lib/txplib_misc.php(306) : eval()’d code on line 1158

Any help?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] mdp_calendar

Have you switched the plug-in on?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] mdp_calendar

Yep! Calendar is switched ON when got that message, if I turn it OFF the error dissapear (logically)
Hope to solve this! The calendar could be a good help in a pub website with too many events per week.

Thx

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] mdp_calendar

In that case do you have the full tag in there like so:-

< txp:mdp_calendar_small / >

only without the spaces at the bginning and end and what version of TXP are you running?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] mdp_calendar

I have TXP RC3. Well, I’m not on my machine right now, I will take another view to my tags later.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] mdp_calendar

I’m getting the same error, with that tag (minus space) and yes, plug-in is ON.
I believe this is on REV 371. I will update it now to see if it works out.

edit—
updated to rev 383 and it works!

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] mdp_calendar

That was the problem!
I just update TXP RC3 to the last REV and the Calendar is working.

Thanks a ton!

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] mdp_calendar

Can someone please post an example of how to have a small calendar and a list of articles for that month on the same page? I’m using displayfuture=1 and article time=“future” but can’t get it to work. It just displays all articles for all months regardless of what month the small calendar displys. Thanks for any suggestions.

Great plug-in. Installed and running relatively easy. Still trying to figure out how to modify the CSS for this.

I couldn’t get the class=“string” option to work but I put the calendar (large calendar) in div’s, using a class I called, “calendar”. So for css that gives “.calendar table” for the calendar itself, “.calendar th” for the header (the month and the days of the week), “.calendar h4” for the dates, “.calendar td” for the squares. You can also style the links using “.calendar .permalink a”, etc. There’s also these classes: .today, .hasarticle, and .invalidDay (that’s for the extra squares that fills out the calendar.)

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] mdp_calendar

Got part of it up and running how I want. For the most part got the CSS working, just ironing it all out now and making it presentable. A few questions.

1. I have it sent to 0 but still showing monday as the start of the week. Changing to 6 does not change the day.

2. How do I just have the first letter show for the day?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] mdp_calendar

thinking about using for a mates band – any chance that it can do a list of upcoming gigs?

Would that be by setting up articles for the future and listing them in reverse order from today’s date?

regards,
kvack
