Thankyou, it was mighty strong cheese as well. Sorry, I don’t want to turn this into a cheese thread…

Re: Txp 1.0 RC3 Available

The changelog says that <txp:lang /> is supposed to be used in DOCTYPE definitions. However, changing your doctype from -//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN to -//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EL or whatever would be wrong; EN refers to the language of the DTD, not the document itself. Such a change can confuse the W3C validator.

However, <txp:lang /> would be useful for specifying the xml:lang attribute.

You tell us. It should be, post a bug report if it’s not.

> Discuss it in the TXP bugs forum (to analyze, check to see if it’s really a bug, things like that) then submit a TRAC ticket ? WHat’s best for you, Zem and Kusor ?

How about this:

We use the Txp bugs forum as a place for requesting confirmation of a bug (i.e. “this doesn’t work for me, can someone else try it and confirm..”). Anyone wanting to help out with testing and bug-hunting can follow the forum, and try to reproduce or eliminate the problems posted there. Confirmation messages should include a copy of the diagnostic info from the system used to reproduce it.

Trac reports are limited to issues that have been confirmed in the forum. Each trac ticket should include a link to the appropriate forum thread.

Sound fair?
