Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] zem_prblock

FOAF isn’t the only way to do that; if we had support for XFN it’d be possible to add the nofollow to anything which wasn’t already marked as a friend.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] zem_prblock

Just so you guys know, if you use the recent comments txp tag, you’ll prolly need to lock that down as well. I don’t know what the original one looks like, since mine is modified slightly. If you are brave you can just edit the code to run zem_prblock on the string that gets returned; that’s what i’m doing at my site now.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] zem_prblock

Is it just me or does using rel=“nofollow” (sitewide rather than just comments) bugger up your XHTML referrer validation? I don’t use validation links on my pages but I do use “Web Developer” in FF and now it keeps referring to “localhost” instead of the actual page I’m trying to validate. The only way I seem to be able to use it now is to select the “local html” option for validation. Would this be an expected result?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] zem_prblock

Now that I’m on RC3 can I stop using this?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] zem_prblock

I am using zem_prblock on the comments form, nice. I also thought about making links to external sites open in a new window, as explained here. But I was under the impression I could do both with the plugin and I only have managed to do either one or the other. Nofollow using the plugin as standard, and <code><txp:zem_prblock rel=“external></code> with the instances of “nofollow” changed to “external” and the javascript solution.
Would I have to duplicate the plugin with a slightly altered name in order to be able to run the two things at the same time.

Also, on this page of the textpattern FAQs the closing tag of <code><txp:zem_prblock rel=“external></code> doesn’t close properly, or lacks the /. I am newish to textpattern and so was cut and pasting when trying things out and was caught out for a while with it not closing properly. Thought I should let someone know.

Cheers.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] zem_prblock

I am using this plugin to automatically style external links and launch them in a new window.

For some strange reason, this plugin treats my internal links the same as my externals.

Currently running 4.0.3 with no other link plugins installed…

EDIT: The problem was my misunderstanding of txp’s links. Plugin works as advertised.
