RSS screwed-up showing random text/pictures, but the correct headings
The RSS/Atom feed on my Textpattern site is screwed-up. Except for the newest item in the list, the rest have the wrong excerpt copy and the wrong image (typically a much older post). The title is correct though, as is the URL.
Weirdly, both the excerpt and the screenshot are randomised each time you refresh the feed.
The site is http://mackungfu.org and the feed is http://mackungfu.org/rss
You can view the feed and the problem on the web at Machash, because they syndicate the site’s RSS feed : http://machash.com/mac-kung-fu/
I’ve run it through feed validator and it comes out validated.
Anybody got any ideas?

The rss feed on http://www.mackungfu.org/rss/ looks just fine to me. Are you sure that there is nothing wrong with the parser on the machash site?

Hi yiannis – well it turns out I fixed it by disabling the smd_featured plugin.
I’ve no idea why that should cause the RSS to get scrambled. I’ve asked Stef, the developer behind it.
