Tried to follow the Detailed Upgrading Instructions...

My webhost also upgraded PHP to 5.5.x, and I found the upgrade thread that fixes it.
Downloaded the current version of TxP and tried to follow the detailed upgrading instructions.

But the website is down with this error message:

  • config.php is missing or corrupt. To install Textpattern, visit setup.

I’ve checked config.php, which seems to be identical to when it worked.

The TxP admin page has these errors at the top:
  • Warning: set_error_handler() expects the argument (adminErrorHandler) to be a valid callback in /home/montgomerystudio/photosbykat.com/textpattern/index.php on line 85
  • Notice: Use of undefined constant INPUT_REGULAR – assumed ‘INPUT_REGULAR’ in /home/montgomerystudio/photosbykat.com/textpattern/include/txp_auth.php on line 113
  • Notice: Use of undefined constant INPUT_REGULAR – assumed ‘INPUT_REGULAR’ in /home/montgomerystudio/photosbykat.com/textpattern/include/txp_auth.php on line 120

Any ideas?

Re: Tried to follow the Detailed Upgrading Instructions...

Hi

You upgraded from wich version ?
Have you visited www.yousite/textpattern to make the script make the upgrade?

Try take the config-dist.php copy/past your config.php into it save it as config.php and upload it again.
Have you tryed to upload config.php again?

Cheers.

Re: Tried to follow the Detailed Upgrading Instructions...

Thanks for the reply.
Not sure which version of TxP I upgraded from.
Did visit www.yoursite/textpattern to try running the upgrade script, but now the admin page won’t run.

I did copy/paste the working config.php the first time.
Didn’t work, but will look at config-dist.php and compare it to my config.php and upload it again.

Will let you know tonight…

Re: Tried to follow the Detailed Upgrading Instructions...

The database seems to be responding, but it’s still throwing errors.
Is there a way to check if all the TxP files are up to date?

Re: Tried to follow the Detailed Upgrading Instructions...

I used phpMyAdmin to reset my password.
Tried to login, and now the site’s TxP control panel throws a bunch of errors:

Re: Tried to follow the Detailed Upgrading Instructions...

Some files appear to be either missing or they are not up-to-date. Please upload all the TXP files once more to your website.

Yes! I had to check every folder, but it works again.
Thank you.
