config.php not found ... !?

The last two weeks I’ve installed several Textpattern sites on the servers of the same provider. Today another one … but now I ran into a weird problem. The database has been found, but when I’ve configured the config.php file Txp gives an error. The config.php file is missing or the content isn’t right. I’ve done all things (installation, etc.) over and over again, but with no success. The provider has looked at it but can’t find anything that could help me.

What could be the problem here?
