Install not accepting local email address

Hi,

In setup on the page “Creating database tables” it asks for an email.

I’m installing on my laptop for practice/development. It’s a local install of LAMP on Ubuntu.

I’m using a local only mail server along with mailx – it’s only on my laptop. The email address is user1@hplaptop

There is no .org or .com at the end – this is standard for local only unix addresses.

The setup will not let me proceed – it wants a dot something on the end.

How do I override this?

Thanks

Re: Install not accepting local email address

Yep – this was an issue:

code.google.com/p/textpattern/issues/detail?id=418

…but it was fixed for 127.0.0.1 addresses:

code.google.com/p/textpattern/source/detail?r=5892

Bodge it with a woo@example.com address.
