php function disabled
Hi
I am installing txp for a client on his hosting, the diagnostic tells me that some php functions are disabled here there are:
Certaines fonctions PHP (pouvant être nécessaires) sont désactivées sur le serveur: he_get_modules, apache_child_terminate, apache_setenv, posix_uname, posix_access, posix_setuid, posix_setsid, posix_setpgid, posix_setgid, posix_seteuid, posix_setegid, highlight_file, show_source, posix_mknod, posix_mkfifo, posix_kill, posix_getuid, posix_getsid, posix_getpwuid, posix_getpwnam, posix_getgrnam, posix_getgrgid, posix_getgid, posix_geteuid, posix_getegid, posix_getegid, php_uname, syslog, mysqli_set_local_infile_handler, mysqli_options, pfsockopen, session_save_path, mysqli_set_local_infile_handler, mysqli_options, pfsockopen
On the txp FAQ here: http://textpattern.com/faq/266/the-following-php-functions-are-disabled it said that only php_uname from the list is required!
is txp will work properlly on the this server? because it seems ok at first glance?
Thanks in advance.

Re: php function disabled
php_uname
is only used on the diagnostics tab to display which OS your server has. No problem.

No problem either. Those appear to be used/generated by ioncube.
The list of disabled functions is mostly interesting when you DO have a problem. In that case it shows you (just) one of the many possible causes. If you don’t experience problems, you can ignore it.

It’s something I should be able to do… :)
Thanks for your prompt reply!
