Display content only on front page

I got a hero unit that I plan on building into the home page of my site as part of the template.

How exactly would you make a block of template code only appear on the front page? I presume there’s some sort of tag-based conditional?

“Presentation” > “Sections”: In each section you can determine if “Section appears on front page”.
