display something in page if article avaliable in a category

hello,
i’m creating an upcoming events section on my template (Pages) , e.g

<div class="events">
<txp:article_custom category="events"  />
</div>

now i want to display that DIV if article avaliable on the category of events, if that category is blank, don’t want to see that section (<div class=“events”……..)

<txp:article_custom category="events" wraptag="div" class="events" /> ?

BTW: Glad for any answer you post, here and elsewhere. It makes coming visitors more secure about offered solutions and is bread for us forum fools.

Great to hear that!

As to the “bread for forum fools” thing: It’s not your English, rather my use of metaphors. I simply wanted to nudge you in a more responding direction, for the good of forum users searching for solutions and – I should only talk about myself – in order to perceive that the time I spent for answering was of any use.
