Having just lost 250 words...
What are people doing for autosave or “back button blocker” functionality? I don’t want to be surprised like that again :-) I found a forum post with a broken link and it seems like Wet had an idea for a plugin.

Yeess, that’s so annoying when it happens. I’ve found the best way is simply to use Notepad and then copy and paste text from there to Textpattern.

Maybe a simpler solution would work, like a “are you sure you want to leave this page” warning like Gmail and Facebook do when you are composing a message.

Nice one, Matt, thanks. That must have been the plugin Robert was referring to. I installed it, but it doesn’t seem to be compatible…it seems to be looking for a core function that no longer exists.
