Yes, I spotted that a while ago & it’s been sitting in a beta version ever since. There’re a couple of other things to sort out as well, so I should put some effort into doing an official release.

Adi, do you see a use for this plugin to display information about which articles an image is used in …

That feature would be very useful indeed (& I’ve thought about it) but whilst I could probably track down all the image ids referenced explicitly in article image fields or in image tags, it would be very difficult – probably impossible – to track down image ids that are referenced in context, or held in variables etc.

A probably very simple but effective amendment would be to set the next link to the right side of the image, thus creating a slightly more intuitive navigation like known from many lightbox scripts and gallery websites.

That feature would be very useful indeed (& I’ve thought about it) but whilst I could probably track down all the image ids referenced explicitly in article image fields or in image tags <snip>

Keeping an eye on those two would cover the most use cases, I guess. Nice you had something like that already in mind.

Re: adi_image_tab - Enhanced image tab

Version 0.2 now available

** TXP 4.5-ified
** code tidy up
** fix: styling only generated for event=image tabs (thanks uli)
** enhancement: image delete button
** enhancement: thumbnail info
** changed: recent image list now stored as “user” pref

P.S. Sorry Uli … still haven’t sorted out your “set the next link to the right side of the image” idea

Re: adi_image_tab - Enhanced image tab

Thanks for all the improvements, Adi!
(BTW, one more thing to add to the version history is “thumbnails on hovering prev/next navigation”.)

I saw you provided for quite a lot of contingencies of themes and TXP versions, on many places. Very farseeing!

Oh, I see, that’s one hell of an elegant code there, but develish to get between.

Re: adi_image_tab - Enhanced image tab

Great plugin when you have to finally write captions for a large number your images. Like, err, 100s. Wonder why I was putting it all off but at least this will save a lot of time rather than having to go back through the list page, ie, love that next button.

Just one thing, I’d prefer to write the captions directly in the Caption box rather than the alt box, it’s bigger.

Glad you find it useful.

Not quite sure what you mean …

Re: adi_image_tab - Enhanced image tab

Hi Adi

It would be nice if you would use the correct multiplication sign. Instead of:

Bild #1100 (733 X 550, 77,12 KB, Frank)

Better:

Bild #1100 (733 × 550, 77,12 KB, Frank)

Thanks for this plugin.

Fair point, and one that’s already been addressed in the currently-being-worked-on-beta.

Thanks for this plugin.

My pleasure.

Hi geomedia.

I see in this old post “currently-being-worked-on-beta”. Do you have a newer version of this plug-in than adi_image_tab v0.2?

In Textpattern 4.6.2 and PHP 7.1.1 adi_image_tab v0.2 makes it impossible to upload photos when it’s activated.

Re: adi_image_tab - Enhanced image tab

It seems I solved the main problem with Bloke’s info.

After saving an uploaded image there still is a warning, only a warning, regarding the time stamp.
