smd_thumbnail id
How can I display the thumbnail of a specific article with smd_thumbnail plugin ?

Matteo, Stef, the plugin author, writes very detailed help texts. You’ll certainly find an answer there (Admin > Plugins > smd_thumbnail). In case I’m wrong, please ask in the smd_thumbnail topic, in the Plugin Author Support forum. Please also look for the appropriate forum in further request cases in order to retain these forums searchable and not scatter information across several sections. Thanks :)

GugUser, article_image doesn’t know about the additional thumbnails created with smd_thumbnail.

That’s right. But, where is mentioned an “additional” thumbnail? The question was related to “display the thumbnail of a specific article”, one thumbnail was mentioned.
It was just a well-intentioned tip from me.

The type attribute in the smd_thumnail tag was the hint for me, but if I hadn’t used smd_thumbnail myself I would not have known. :-)
