Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

i couldn’t find a solution for displaying an article showing up in all languages – without the need to translate it? sorry, if this issue was already answered in the forum.

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

Do you mean that when you have for instance English, German and Spanish, you would want an English article to be displayed on the German and Spanish pages as well?

Is it a MLP bug?’

I posted a temporary workaround for this issue here.

I have the same problem but with the body field. In my Txp, I see two body fields and only works the last one. I would like that works the first because this has a WYSWYG editor (the other doesn’t).
Any idea?
Thanks

Hi, gfdesign. Teemu posted a solution to this that I bookmarked here.

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

What about the freshly released txp 4.5, did someone ran into MLP update or compatability issues?

I tried to run MLP with the 4.5 beta and it broke the admin royally, so it will need update.

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

For those willing to do some testing, you could try any of this:

The first one is TXP 4.5.0 with latest official MLP release (4.3.0.12).
The second one is TXP 4.5.0 with some extra commits I took from netcarver/mlp_pack repository at GitHub.

In both versions, the necessary hack (to txplib_db.php) is already applied. You should only have to install the plugins that are inside the .tar.gz file in folder /mlp_pack/.

Also, feel free to clone my repo (or fork your own repo from it) which already has a 4.5.0-mlp branch. Maybe we altogether could help to put the MLP to work properly with TXP 4.5.0.

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

Great! Thanks, Julián. But I keep getting this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function safe_escape() in /path/to/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php on line 33

with the original MLP and with your mlp-4.3.0-12-gb7b6bc0. I’ll have another go at it tomorrow, it’s getting late over here…

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

hey i m new here … first at all thx for the plugin an the effort developing it …

2nd i set up a 4.5.0 with versioning and mlp wich leads mit to following alert box:
Internal error “Array to string conversion”.
the error is caused by _initiate_callbacks in l10n_admin_classes and could be removed by imploding the return value of the function … is that a proper solution, or do i miss smthg?

@els had the same problem at the beginning … use this file … don’t know where i got it from …
http://pastie.org/4656059
i hope this helps

… whatever i said … wrong …
its a problem of the xampp version … if you run 1.7.3 everything is fine on 1.8.0 i get the errors …
sql-version i suppose?!

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

hi,

just come across a strange issue, when I add a new article and then clone it, all 3 renditions have the same language. Tried to change it manually but whichever rendition I change, all 3 ID’s have the same language assigned. Obviously this causes problems. Any suggestions short of running the wizard?

Textpattern version: 4.4.1 (r3575)
PHP version: 5.3.10
MySQL: 5.1.61-cll

Active plugins: rah_metas-1.0.5, zem_contact_reborn-4.0.3.20, zem_contact_lang-mlp-4.0.3.6-ML, rvm_if_this_article-0.1, cab_social-0.2, smd_gallery-0.62, rss_auto_excerpt-0.5m, smd_query-0.50, rah_replace-0.3, rss_admin_db_manager-4.3, hpw_admincss-0.1, ebl-image-edit-1.0, l10n-4.3.0.12, hak_tinymce-0.9.9, gbp_admin_library-0.4.1, smd_lib-0.36
Admin-side theme: classic 4.4.1

Same problem with l10n-0.9.13-gp

Any help/suggestions most welcome.

Regards
