What do I do after running the cleanup wizard?

Hmm… it’s been a while since I’ve done the same, but I’d go for option b). a) will only take you to the plugins tab I assume. And I don’t think it will hurt to leave “insert etc…” checked.

I hope it helps!

Yes, it helped a lot, Els. Thanks! I was a bit apprehensive to run the wizard, worried that I might have to rebuild half of my site… But it worked out fine. There are just a few things that don’t work, but the site is pretty much back to normal now. Really appreciate your help. You, too, maniqui!

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

Hello, i am new to textpattern, my client wants to move his hosting to our environment. I have created a database and uploaded the tables, after that i have transfered all files to the new environment, i have changed the config.php file, searched the forum for possible errors when updating and now i get the error you see below. I have checked the files and they are on the selected location. Can someone help me find the error?”

(the site eightydays.nl where i am working on is located on ipadres 85.17.197.1)

A problem occured while loading the plugin: l10n -> Warning: include_once(/domains/eightydays.nl/textpattern/lib/l10n_base.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory on line 379

A problem occured while loading the plugin: l10n -> Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening ‘/domains/eightydays.nl/textpattern/lib/l10n_base.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php’) on line 379

Fatal error: Class ‘MLPLanguageHandler’ not found in /home/eightidayz/domains/eightydays.nl/public_html/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php(574) : eval()’d code on line 95

thank you in advance!
kind regards,
Ruud van den Einden

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

Are you sure you copied all MLP files, including l10n_base.php?

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

Hello Els, thank you for your reply,

I copied all the files in the directories, including l10n_base.php. (i have done a new FTP with the information and copied the config.php with the new database information.) still get the same error.
Are there other locations that i should configure? Thank you in advance!

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

Did you install both plugins, gbp_admin_library and l10n?

It’s a pity txpforge.org is down, I posted installation and upgrade instructions there. I’ll see if I can find it somewhere (I’m afraid I didn’t think of saving it locally…) and make them available elsewhere.
Until then the only thing I can do is ask you questions until we find the problem ;)

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

Ruud, I’m going to merge your topic with the MLP thread, to keep everything MLP related in one place.

Edit: done. You may need to subscribe to this topic, not sure if that happens automatically after a merge.

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

Well, it must have been installed earlier, because without it MLP wouldn’t work. You can find the plugin in the installation pack, you need to install it before the l10n plugin. Maybe it’s best to run the cleanup wizard (don’t check the checkboxes under #3 and #4), remove the l10n plugin, then install gbp_admin_library, activate it, install l10n, and run the setup wizard again.

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

Hello Els, how can i find the exact version of the software? I can’t see it on the login screen for textpattern… If you or someone else would do this for me, what would it cost? I can get the correct files on the new location and also the database. Please let me know. thank you in advance…

Ruud, there are two ways to find out the version of The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack:

1. In the plugins folder of the MLP pack you will find a file called l10n.txt. When you open this file in a text reader, you can see the version displayed on top.
2. Under the Plugins tab of the Administration tab in your textpattern installation, the version for each plugin is indicated. Look for l10n.

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack

You can also go the MLP tab in the back end, at the bottom it shows the MLP version. And the Textpattern version is at the bottom of each back end screen (when you’re logged in).

I can have a look at your installation if you want, though I can’t promise I’ll be able to solve the problem. Just send me an email (email link on the left in my profile).
