I noticed one small typo during installation: It said “Advanded Installation” on button.

It looks like the links Advanced Install files are missing from the plugin homepage. Anybody know where I can find them?

the advaned install fails (missing files on server) and uploading everything manually doesn’t seem to work very well either.

bummer.

To everyone looking for the advanced installation files, they are here:

i figured they might be lying around in the same directory as the language plugins, i just messed around with the URL`s as the old one
for the advanced installation files on samisdat were dead and got lucky. Whatever you gotta do to get a plugin :)

And a new issue arose…

My lightbox is up and running, yet I cannot find a close-button!

Solution: in bas_lb05_lightbox.js change the relative paths for loading and closing GIFs into absolute paths.

(I know, it’s not high-coding, but it worked.)

I installed version 4 today, and it works pretty well. But! Which parameters do I have to change in the CSS to get images show up in my article as something like this;

So that the thumbnails come on line after each other rather than below, all the way until linebreak (edit; fixed this with tables). Also; how do I remove the list block-things that appear to the left of every image?

Here is how it looks on my page;

I think it goes beyond CSS to do that. If all your images are from different categories you need to make sure the plugin outputs the relevant markup for you to style. smd_gallery can certainly do it, but I don’t know about this plugin since it is no longer supported.

But in essence, the CSS requires float:left; for each image so they stack up alongside each other. Then set the container to a specific width (e.g. width:400px) and the rest is down to the browser.

Also; how do I remove the list block-things that appear to the left of every image?

ul {
   list-style-type: none;
}

Look at taming lists for more tricks.
