WOW!!!!
I voted on a Dreamhost suggestion for this 2.5 years ago. I might even have made the suggestion in the first place; I can’t remember.

Hostgator also offer textpattern on his automated app installer (not fantastico) but when i tryed to install it at top directory it failed asked me to give a directory installation!!
then i havent reported it here in the forum but today when reading this post i decided to make another try!and that work!
Installing txp 4.3 on one click is now working on hostgator using their QuickInstall Script!

Not sure if anyone knows, but TXP is also available for one-click install on Joyent.

hmm. would it be useful to keep a list of one click-installs on the main site – say on the download page?
(and/or alternately in the wiki. Though if on the wiki, it would be more for having a record of all things Txp. I doubt many people taking a first look at Txp go to the wiki.)

They’ve still got 4.4.0 on their one-click. I’m such a newbie I’m getting lost in which directory to upload what update files to.
I just got a site mostly functioning over on One World Hosting (couldn’t get the clean URLs to work) and thought I’d move to a more Textpattern-friendly site.
