Alex just posted on his blog that he has a new job with the makers of Wordpress, Automattic Inc. I wish him the best of luck at his new job, I know he has a family to support and is an excellent programmer.
I’m sad to see him go.
Congratulations and thanks for all your hard work.

Thank you very much, Zem. Textpattern would just not be the same without you, that’s for sure. But you are leaving when it in excellent shape and although you will be missed the txp future is very rosy.
All the best with your new career and may you enjoy a long and happy life.

Zem, have a good time on the new job. And, with many others, thanks a lot for your work on Textpattern. We’ll miss you. Come back and say hello, every while and then.

Wow. I don’t envy his job.
Has anyone seen the code for Wordpress? It’s the biggest pile of poo I’ve seen in a while. Includes ALL over the place, seperate files to do everything. It’s a mess.
Alex should bring some good to WP.
