MistyLook for Textpattern
With the help of Mike West’s mcw_templates plugin I want to publish some themes and templates from other blogging software or open source templates on my new website Textpattern Templates.
The first one is the popular MistyLook for Textpattern

A few weeks back I put up a site on my VPS for a friend, she liked MistyLook and being in a hurry, I just installed Wordpress and customized it a bit.
Then came the Wordpress 2.1.1 hacker alert and I had to upgrade the site, then I wished I had done the conversion of the template, didn’t really care for the scare nor the upgrade process.
So tonight, I converted Wendaly to Textpattern.

The security holes and recent update orgy of WordPress was one of the reasons I turned back to TXP. I have still 3 weblogs running on WP, but with the nice WP-Import feature in TXP I will migrate to TXP soon.
Edit: Why don’t you showcase your friend’s new design in my forum? ;)

and yes, honestly I want to have everything under one roof. So please consider to use the forum there.
Edit: Right now, I’m uploading some extensions for the forum to make it more usable and useful :)
