Fraccozzo, you can add new authors in Textpattern via admin > site preferences. You could then add the <txp:author /> tag to the default form’s “published” paragraph to show whose photograph it is. There’s more about author-related tags in Textbook.
I’m not sure what you’re asking in your first question. If you mean, “Do I have to upload an image, figure out its ID number, enter it into the custom field, etc. every time I want to post a photo”, then I’m afraid the answer is yes. At least until Textpattern’s core image handling changes.

Having some issues with the archive pages.

Seems like textpattern is pushing out some dodgy SQL…
select ID, Posted from `textpattern` where 1=1 Section = ‘archive’and Status=4 and Posted < now() order by Posted desc limit 1
Not sure how the hell it’s doing that, no can i find out why… what am i missing? This is on a fresh install of TP + widescreen 0.9

I don’t think it’s an issue with the template. I think it’s a txp issue.
I did find that if you don’t have any tags against the photos it tends to give off a bunch of warnings/errors :)
I’ve turned debugging back on for a while… anyone have thoughts as to the sql error on the archive page:

As mentioned it looks like a txp bug… but i can’t seem to find anyone having a similar issue.

EddieG5 — Yup, hoping to get it done in the next week or two. Nothing earth shattering, just attempting some modest zem_contact integration and more forgiving treatment of oddly-sized thumbnails, etc.
Gwong — glad you got it fixed. I forgot some .txt extensions in the download and that (understandably) has thrown a lot of people off.

Ok, it’s not perfect (in particular, the zem_contact_reborn integration is not behaving entirely) but it’s better than v.9.

- .htaccess modified to prevent flickering (image refetching) on hover.

- LiveSearch moved into header bar as a popover.
- Slightly transparent sidebar makes comment form’s “slide” effect less confusing (?).
- Back-to-top links at bottom of comment form and comment list.
- Better comment styles and previewing.
- Better IE stylesheet.
- Archive: new auto-linked comment “bugs” show number of comments on that photo.
- Archive: new page navigation icons.
- About section with optional zem_contact_reborn integration for contact and order forms, although this is buggy in my installation (thanks_form does not work).
- Opera z-index problems were fixed with Opera 9 :-)
