Yep, a translator account will let you log into the main translator server, that feed every Textpattern websites around here (unless specificaly not wanted by its webmaster).
You can edit, update, maintain, relatively easily (if the software don’t eat your translations, hmmm Pedro ? :p) and as often, as small or big as you like.
I do it for french. Correcting small things a few times per month.

I would like to start translating TextPattern into Vietnamese. Just one question before I start:
Does txt file support Unicode? I mean, normally text files use ANSI instead of UTF-8.

Thank you. It’s clearly now.
I would start my work as soon as possible.

Thanks, laze, for posting (and of course doing) the translation. Pedro – who will import the data on te server – is currently pretty busy, so that’s probably the reason he hsn’t already contacted you. I am sure he will. He’ll probably also invite you into the group of translators, which means you get a login to the translation-backend and that way can keep the language items for your language updated when further additions are made – if you have the time and interest.
At this point, I would ask you for a little bit more patience. :)
