hi wilshire,
the javascript of live_archive interferes with the call of your live_search-plugin-javascript-call. i tested it with all my javascriptcalls on and off, after killing live-search, the archive works.
maybe that helps

I’ve got both search & archives working together on the same page (testing server) so it is possible.

I am just wondering if the people having problems with the plugin content showing up have textpattern installed in the root directory of their site or in a sub-directory?
I just moved my txp install to a sub-directory then all my archives disappeared. FYI, my paths are correct and the plugins add the .dat files to the files directory if I delete them.

right so now i have more problems
1.) iin may i had no years
2.) june 1 all archives disappeared
3.) june 2 archives back w/ years but june1 posts are in may archives
4.) june 3 years disappear
i use livesearch, the code is very unstable :\

I’ve got live search and live archives running on the same pages with no problem too.
As far as the mystery years problem goes, the current thought is this…
One person who had the problem told me that they were mistakenly using sections=”“ in the plugin call. Make sure you are using section=”“. Anyone who is seeing their years disappear can you check that and post back here. Thanks.

I had “sections” on both sites. I’ve made the change to “section”. Will let you know if my years disappear again. Seems to be working at the moment, though.

Thats good to hear. So I’ll echo once again…
Make sure you are using section=”“ in your call to the plugin, not sections=”“.
This seems to solve the disappearing years problem. If not, post away.

nope, i had section singular, not plural. still missing the years pretty consistently.
