Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ako_nav

Arg. I’m having some issues with my server. It should be fixed within 6 hours, if not sooner. I’ll update again when it’s all set to go.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ako_nav

Thanks, got it OK now. One thing, the help page in plugin is messed up, seems to have lost some formatting.

Ok, I’ll check that out in the coming few days. Probably, I expect that I’ll get it done on sunday. And for all you other folk out there, my server issues seem to be better now, so you can download ako_nav

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ako_nav

Adrian, a lovely plugin! Saves me a lot of time. The only problem i’m facing is with messy urls (one of my servers doesnt allow .htaccess). Looks like the class=“active” attribute doesnt work when messy urls are used. Can you help me out with this?

Regards,
Vasanth

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ako_nav

Interesting… I didn’t think that messy url’s would have an effect on it. I’ll look into this, and try to get back to you asap.

Again, I simply adore this plugin its works like a dream! It really does save me a lot of time and energy!

But, any chance that your plugin will work with messy urls?

Vasanth

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ako_nav

creativesplash, for my sanity, could you copy the code in here that you’re using to call the plugin?
Thanks…

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ako_nav

This is how I’m using it…

<code><txp:ako_nav name=“home,showcase,journal,about us,credits,locker” url=”/,/?s=showcase,/?s=journal,/?s=about,/?s=credits,/?s=locker” /></code>

I’m able to navigate between pages (as far as functionality is concerned the links work). The only prob. i’m facing is with the attribute <code>active=“class”</code>. The menu is not highlited when on a different section other than the home page. (it does get highlighted in the home page).

I’m using Txp 4.01.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ako_nav

Feature requests: switch to turn off div, ul, li and option to have br as a wrap tag. So you’re just left with a plain link.

Thanks, Lee

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] ako_nav

Lee, I’ll see what I can do. And creativesplash, I’m working on figuring out why the messy url’s don’t want to work.

I will have you know that a divon attribute is already in the next release (and currently being used on a beta site), and I can work the wraptag attribute in the next release. Oh, and the help file formatting is fixed in the next version too (oops, kind of messed that one up in the last version…)

Give me a a bit of time, and I’ll have the next release out — this seems like it’s going to be a rather hellish week here at school.
