Need new hosting for small website

I have a small website with low traffic that I need to move. Currently it is shared cpanel hosting at Bluehost, but Bluehost no longer has support of any sort, and is automatically upgrading customers to costly plans without notice. I need ssh access, but don’t want to have to set up and maintain apache, etc. (I don’t even want to maintain Textpattern.) Any suggestion for a hosting service? Something in the $3/mo range, hopefully.

ps…If there is someone who is willing to move my website for $$$ and not break by email (fastmail), then I am interested.

Webfaction are very good for managed hosting and SSH access.

The domain is unfortunately also with Bluehost. I would like to move that also. I thought that I could move it to Fastmail, but when I asked them about this, they seemed confused. I know nothing about moving domains.

WebFaction don’t sell domains, you’d need to move your domain elsewhere if you want to change your registrar. But, its quite easy to use WebFaction and Fastmail together. More info on custom domains with Fastmail
