Site exploded after upgrade to 4.6.1 :P

Hi All,

I had to dump my previous host and setup a new environment. I was running version 4.2.0 (a few years old), but I upgraded to the newest version (4.6.1) because the previous version wasn’t compatible with PHP 7.1.

Generally, things kind of work, except for some tag errors. In the admin screen, I’m unable to leave the language update page (I’ve updated the language manually).

It looks like maybe the issue is that I had url shortening turned on, but I don’t think it’s compatible anymore, even though I followed: http://www.textpattern.net/wiki/index.php?title=Installing_on_an_nginx_Webserver

I get a file-not-found on every content link. On the admin page the only page I can access is tab_languages. Is there a way to turn off url shortening in the db?
I just checked the db.. doesn’t look like it was updated..

I changed url_mode in the db to 0, and fixed up the paths, but still no go.

Hi,

please check the value of production_status field in txp_prefs table and set it to live if different. You then should be able to run the update script and access all admin pages. It’s a bug patched in 4.6.2 that should be out shortly.
